Check out two new trailers of Aaron’s newest movie,‘Fathers & Daughters’ including one from Japan with more footage.
They played lovers on Big Love and now Amanda Seyfried and Breaking Bad boy Aaron Paul are thrilled to be together again in the family drama Fathers and Daughters, the actress tells ET Canada:
I was so so excited when he signed on. We played lovers for a bunch of years on and off, so he feels like an ex-boyfriend.
Amanda’s character Katie struggles to reconnect with her damaged father played by Russell Crowe, and Paul is the love interest who could add balance to her life.
Although Paul loves reuniting with his former co-star, he says it was the script that made him want to sign on to the film.
I read it before knowing who was involved. I thought it was just so honest, pure and just genuine – I had to jump at the chance.
Aaron Paul is looking to reteam with his “Big Love” co-star as he has signed on to co-star with Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried in the Voltage Prods. drama “Fathers and Daughters.”
Gabriele Muccino is directing. Busted Shark Prods., Fear of God Films and Leone Films are also involved in the film with Craig J. Flores and Nicolas Chartier of Voltage and Sherryl Clark of Busted Shark producing.
Story follows a father and daughter living 25 years apart in New York City. Crowe will portray a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year-old daughter. Seyfried will portray the now-grown daughter in present-day Manhattan as she battles the aftermath of her troubled childhood.
Brad Desch wrote the original script, which was featured on the black list.
Crowe and Keith Rodger will also exec produce via their Fear of God production shingle, along with Romilda De Luca. Andrea Leone Films will also co-produce and handle Italian distribution rights.
Paul is playing Seyfried’s love interest and the role should come naturally given that he played the same part in HBO’s “Big Love.”
Paul can be seen next in DreamWorks’ “Need for Speed” and is currently filming Fox’s Moses pic “Exodus.”
